What is a short film?

A short film is a film that is too short to be a feature film. There are no boundaries for short films. Any film with a run time under 40 minutes is eligible for the shorts categories. They normally keep to a low character numbers so the viewers can relate to them thought the short film. They normally have a low budget and sometimes actors will work for free. They are normally based around an everyday situation that the viewers can actually relate to.

Coursework Requirements

So you may have been wondering what we actually have to do for our Media Coursework, so I will embed a screen shot below of the overview of what we actually have to do.

We have 3 tasks overall, 2 smaller ones and 1 big one which is the 5 minute short film. I will be documenting my stages using this blog until I have finally finished the the final task. This will include the ancillary task which we have chosen which is 

• Film Poster 
• Film Magazine review page
